YoungGunsBlog Jamie SandersonBBC confirm Arsenal are in talks with Lille for Gervinho, but the club's can't agree a fee. Arsenal believe Lille want too much.So either City are in or Lille are gassed as they think City will come in for him.

If Arsenal and Manchester City seem best placed to attract Gervinho (24 years) in their nets, only Tottenham has manifested itself specifically with the direction of Lille. Contacted by us, the deputy director general of LOSC Frederic Paquet revealed that Spurs had offered € 12 million on Thursday. A proposal immediately rejected."Today, we actually received a concrete offer of € 12 million from Tottenham which was refused last few hours. It is the only official contact we have right now, "he confessed. This file is longer than ever and it will open more than € 12 million to convince them to let go Mastiffs Ivory Coast international.

JamieDalton82 Jamie Dalton Report says Manchester City will pay Lille €17.5m and a salary of €168,000 a week. Sounds far-fetched I know.

N'Zogbia to Arsenal is the new Twitter hype atm. So you faggots might get what you wanted.Starts from Sagna suggesting people should follow him, and then him saying he's travelling to London... Personally I think imagination running but hey who knows... Maybe he's our new left-back, lol.

Arsenal are planning another bid to sign one of Barcelona’s biggest young talents. As wearethenorthbank.com reported on Wednesday, Chief Scout, Steve Rowley, travelled to Switzerland to watch the Elite Group 2 of the European Under-19 Championships – a round Robin featuring England, Spain, Montenegro and Switzerland.Aside from watching long-term transfer target, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rowley was keeping a close eye on Barca winger Gerard Deulofeu.Deulofeu, the youngest of Spain’s hugely talented U19 squad at 17 years of age, has been watched by a host of clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal; and has been likened at La Masia to Ronaldinho.Rowley was also impressed by England and Nottingham Forest centre back, Jamaal Lascelles. The 17-year-old has not yet broken into Forest’s first team but is regarded as one of the best England players at U19 level.

All good signing these wingers but I hope Wenger realises we're losing 2 powerhouses of world football that can control the midfield which "ALLOWS" theses wingers to flurish.I hope he doesn't forget this small fact, then wonder half way through the season why these so called 10 goal a season wingers cant get a sniff in front of the likes of Sunderland, Everton, Villa etc

Arsene Wenger is confident Samir Nasri will STAY at Arsenal. The Arsenal boss will hold talks with Nasri and his representatives this week in a bid to persuade the French international to sign a new deal.Nasri has one year left on his contract and talks have so far stalled.Manchester United are keen on Nasri but Wenger believes he can convince the £15million signing from Marseille that his future lies at the Emirates. But Wenger has given up hope of keeping Cesc Fabregas out of the clutches of Barcelona this summer. He has acknowledged the one club he cannot compete with for his 24-year-old captain are the Champions League winners and, if they offer about £40million then Fabregas will go.Other departures could be Gael Clichy to Liverpool, Nicklas Bendtner and Brazilian midfielder Denilson. The latter could be used as a makeweight to secure either Willian da Silva or Douglas Costa from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk. Both impressed when Shakhtar beat the Gunners 2-1 in Donetsk in a Champions League group match.Wenger also wants to bring in Christopher Samba from Blackburn for£10m to add muscle and power to his central defence and is also set to make a£15m bid for Aston Villa’s Stewart Downing. The England winger has made no secret of his ambition to play in the Champions League, which is unlikely to be realised if he stays at Villa Park. But Abou Diaby is likely to miss the start of the season. The France midfielder will undergo surgery next week to cure a persistent ankle problem that bothered him in the second half of last season.
Oh Abou...On the Nasri, another paper runs...
Samir Nasri wants a stunning £160,000-a-week from Arsenal - or Manchester’s Big Two - in a lucrative contract demand that is putting his future in doubt. The French star’s sky-high salary wish has stopped the Gunners from tying him down to a new deal as his current arrangement enters its last year. But those terms are too much for Manchester United who have been heading the queue for his signature since news of the dispute came to light. And even City are reluctant to enter the bidding for Nasri although they could easily top all of the contract offers he could get at the Emirates or Old Trafford.
