My old housemate used to come back from casino with like £800 in cash and if he can play poker im adamant I can. Determined to clock this game. After seeing what Carlos said in one thread yday I looked up a beginners guide to poker. Gonna teach myself to play and see where that takes me. What I'd do, find a strong-ish team that's losing and put them race to x corners, or corner handicap. Almost always comes in, and odds just over evens, was doubling £30 each time. Determined to clock this game. i was PISSED last night..was in a tourney with 50 people and the winner got a ticket to a bigger tourny (i dont normally enter these types cuz i cbf to go to another tourny i just want the p's).. anyway i came 2nd because i didnt want to win and got $52 (was only $4 to enter) ..after the tourny i looked at what the ticket was for..it was for a $225 entry tourny where the first place got 600k and even 10th place got 10 grand and there was only 130 people registered (which would prob go up = more money) kinda pissed still. trick to poker is patience, if you haven't got any dont bother playing... i haven't got much but i force myself to be patient which makes me good for a couple hours then after that i get bored n start to lose Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
