I know Wenger likes his 4-5-1 but seriously, it doesn't take 3 men to take the ball of the centreback. We used to have Toure carrying the ball forward, so I don't know if he's trying to equate for that loss with an extra man in there?1 striker against 5 defenders, slow build up play from the midfielders and no actual out and out wingers is just crazy, Sagna does too much work and we focued too much down his flank imo.I genuinly fear a mass exodus from Arsenal this summer, Wenger has promised the earth, the players don't look motivated for his cause and I wouldn't rule them out of having the temprement to throw in the towl for another easier league.I am talking about; Denilson, Diaby, Arshavin and Rosicky.Wouldn't be surprised too see them 4 leave in the summer, possibly Nasri and Cesc if a big club comes calling.Wenger just doesn't buy players to suit the league, hence he hasn't won nothing in 6 years and won't win anything if he continues to buy this different calibure of European player, if you stuck 2 wingers out wide today for example; Tom Cleverley and Stewart Downing with Wilshere and Song in the middle I am sure you'd have seen a more effective style. What pisses me off is Wenger buys a specific type of player instead of buying a player for a position for example; check out wide men they are more naturall through the centre, both have excellent technique but rarely get to the byline, I am sure you could play half the team in that position and they'd still play the same.

York City have revealed they turned down an approach from former England legend Paul Gascoigne to take over as manager at Bootham Crescent.Gazza, who inspired the Three Lions to semi-final appearances as a player at the 1990 World Cup and 1996 European Championships, expressed his interest in the Minstermen vacancy following Martin Foyle’s departure in September. But City did not believe the former Newcastle, Tottenham and Lazio midfielder would have been a suitable choice as Foyle’s successor and, following Andy Porter’s caretaker reign, plumped for current boss Gary Mills instead.City communications director Sophie Hicks said: “Paul Gascoigne did apply for the position through his agent by email to Jason McGill. He asked whether we would like to meet with him to discuss the manager’s role but we chose not to proceed any further.“We felt he was not the right candidate for York City. We wanted somebody with experience of managing in the Conference and that’s why we chose Gary Mills.”Gascoigne, 43, has only been employed once as a manager when he took charge of Kettering in 2005 but was dismissed after just 39 days. He was offered the chance to manage Garforth in the Evo-Stik League first division north earlier this season but declined the opportunity.
