he's more suited to the premiership and he will build something good at the club.
Same with Hughes, he deffo has an eye for players outside of the UK which is what Villa needs.
Ancelotti will f*ck things up if he came, he is a manager that is use to working with luxury players and huge clubs. I doubt that he has the right vision for a top 10 club.
Hughes,Rafa & Moyes would be the right move for Villa
He was close to getting it when Scolari was appointed. He's a fine manager and he'd do well there. He's flexible and would be capable working under Hiddink too.

Hughes will be next villa manager baring anything stupid.
No one has jumped the gun he has a 30 day no compete clause in his contract.
will be worth checking his odds though as other names get mentioned.... only evens at the moment.

Someone said on the Fulham forum they saw a topic that said 'anyone but Rafa'.
the way the media made him out to be a buffoon is ridiculous.

I want him if we can't get Ancelotti.

Haha, that place is the worst. 40 year old match-going 'ITK's' and foreigners.

Remember tho, I doubt Rafa did himself any favours in the eyes of Villa fans during the Gareth Barry saga.

I'd be happy enough with him but he's my third choice at best.
I'd much prefer Ancelotti or Moyes.

JJ any truth on Rijkaard's claim and would you be happy if he became your new coach?

I meant Hughes, not Moyes there ^
As for Rijkaard - yeh, why not? Could be to us what Gullit was for Chelsea.

Ancelotti is meeting with Randy tomorrow.
In Birmingham (well, Warwickshire) too. Which shows he harbours some interest...
