I think that if aliens do exist, their technology would be light-years ahead of ours (no pun). So, if they were to arrive on our planet, I think it is naive to think they would be visible in broad daylight. They would conceal themselves, perhaps some invisibility technology or shape-shifting.

I think theres beings out there more advanced and less advanced than us. But if they all follow our laws of psychics then I dunno how they could of ever travelled here or made contact. Some of the old stuff on Ancient Aliens etc is compelling but then could just be nothing at the same time. It's all a bit weird.

Kinda exciting that we are finding Planets in that Goldie Locks zone relatively close to our own planet etc now. Can't wait for them to get this James Webb telescope up and out there aswell, were gonna be able to see sh*t we've never seen before.

Well I'm assuming they would arrive via space travel. If you look at our tecnhology right now, we have some pretty incredible sh*t. And thats only the stuff thats public, imagine all the advanced tech they have behind closed doors. Yet we don't have space travel over a significant distance.

So for these "aliens" to come to Earth, surely they would have be to more sophisticated and intelligent than us. That's my understand at least.

More in the form of bacteria or tiny microbes etc. I believe this form of life will be found within our lifetime.

If there are proper advanced aliens, living like us, they will be too far away, meaning different solar systems and different galaxies, which for us to get to is not possible. There is a reason why we are limited in brainpower, life span, abilities, etc. Some things are just beyond us as humans. For us to even critically reflect how we got here and what is beyond us is unique to everything else in this world.

It's hard to even imagine in our heads the full extent of the size of our universe. Scientists haven't even cracked the dark matter mystery yet.

I truly love astronomy. Mind boggling and humbling at the same time.

I see your point, but with something like this, the knowledge the older scientist gained would be passed along to the new generation. For example, all of the genius of Einstein didn't die with him, people are still using his theories to plan out space programs. So I don't think life span would play into it.

Yeah true. I was also talking in literal sense, we live up to 100 years max give or take. Galaxies are 10 billion light years away. Sure we can send scientific equimpment up there, but that's about it.
