TF S4DK
Adebayor is one of the best CF's in England without a doubt He just needs to two things from Drogba which are Consistency and Big Game mentality (Club level) IMO. Adebayor over Torres for me anyday the only CF I would take over Adebayor in the Prem is Van Persie
TF S4DK
fuck off adebayor over torres in what planet mate : / Torres has been shit for 18 months and he still better than adebayor better dribbler, shooter, header, first touch, acceleration ade just has more strength Dribbling-Adebayor (Torres has one move that drag thing even the likes of Curtis Davies have clocked onto it) Shot- Torres First Touch - Adebayor In the air - Adebayor Vision - Adebayor Pace- Adebayor Strength - Adebayor That's 6-1 to Sheyi
darkman
Adebayor would be the ideal replacement for Drogba Should be bans for statements like this Why Torres is more ideal yeah? Are you seriously trying to say Adebayor is good enough to lead Chelsea's front line? You come out with the dumbest sh*t sometimes Torres hasn't worked out but he has the ability to. Adebayor is good enough to lead Chelsea's frontline Like the way he was good enough when led Arsenal's and currently leading Tottenham Stop going on like Chelsea are Barca or Real when they are clearly not By the way Adebayor>>>>>Torres as a footballer This is where I stop debating with you hes right though are u mad Torres has two left feet, no way he is a better 'baller' than Adebayor You man need to stop with this baller/ athlete nonsense As a footballer Adebayor will never or has never been as good as Torres I can only assume you man are comparing him to the current Torres

Guest M12
Adebayor is a better footballer than Torres quite clearly. But both at their best. Torres is a better striker. He will finish more chances and just generally be more of a threat.
Young £
let just get this clear, Torres at his pomp (Liverpool first 3 years) was a far better player let alone striker than Adebayor i can understand where Porchy is coming from BUT you can't compare someone like Adebayor who's had 1 really outstanding season to Torres at his pomp, no way jose but if you're saying you'd take Adebayor NOW over Torres, then yeah i agree, tbh i'd take Peter Crouch over Torres NOW aswell, but thats just on current form absolute rubbish, been noticing you usually talk a pile of sh*t Torres didn't have 3 great seasons, he had 1 great season and 2 good ones (in comparison with other strikers in the league and europe) and no way, in the season 07/08 snd 08/09 there is no way Torres was a FAR better player than Adebayor, absolutely no chance, it's close and arguable lol @ suggesting Torres was all manufactured hype, memories in football don't last long at all coming like Ade didnt score just as much as him in both of those seasons, i think you've forgotten and everybody else what Adebayor was doing / capable of

Young £
i'd take Adebayor over Torres anyday of the week lololol are we forgetting what Ade was doing when he banged 30 people please think for a sec it is not ludicrous at all to suggest he COULD lead Chelseas line smh If he can't lead Tottenhams line and they have better service and midfield then Chelsea, how would he lead Chelsea's line? Also the outburst was more at him being only 2nd to RVP in the league and on his day being unplayable as Drogba was not that he isn't CAPABLE (keyword) of leading Chelseas attack Does he have the ability in his locker to? yes Does he have the ability to lead them over a season and perform enough? no Your opinion but where you going with this if he cant lead the line for Tottenham shit, its his first season there on loan, hes scored 13 goals which could quite easily be 15 for wrongly ruled out goals, or 20 for hes missed chances, and he has contributed SIGNIFICANTLY to the possibility of them getting Champions League football, being in the FA Cup later stages and still capable of finishing 3rd, I think you can argue that he has lead the line quite well actually i mean wouldn't Chelsea wanna be where Spurs are? hasn't he scored more than all of Chelseas strikers? I think he should stay, he will be even more impressive next season, he needs to get his head down, stay somewhere (find a home) and prove to everyone what he can really do 1

LS
Adebayor is not the same player since he left Arsenal. He never has them long range shots, his lost his shooting ability. That loan spell at Real Madrid has helped him mature as a footballer imo. If he could finish, had a better first touch and maybe avoid being offisde 80% of the time, he would be a complete striker. He could deffo lead Chelsea's front line similar to how Anelka did. I don't think we'll be able to sign him. Think he would move to Liverpool with them offering 100k+ wages. Playing wise its hard to justify, think players like Arshavin acknowledged this, however it would seem that very few at Arsenal where very sad to see him as a person go... Wenger couldn't resist 25m for Ade... and when you think that he currently being loaned out to Spurs from Man City, its hard to say he was wrong... He extracted maximum value. That said his replacements Chamakh and Bendtner have never set alight the league, Cesc's goals have gone with Cesc, so thank fuck for RvP or man would still be ooking at Wenger with the plainface.
