we didnt deserve it last year either tbh - SAF won us that league because he's the best manager in the country and was able to squeeze the very last morseles of quality out of it

this year its finally caught up with us and we've ended up trophyless and losing the title to our bitter rivals, who apart from the blips along the way were far more deserving and the better team for large parts of the season

hopefully this embarrassing season will force the clubs hand and we'll go out and buy some QUALITY players that can immediately come in and force their way into the first team and not just be some glorified squad players that 'do a job' (i fucking hate that phrase)

because believe you me, City will just go into this summers transfer window and spend another bucket load of money to secure Champions League glory and cement their position at the top of the league

we've been knocked out of the group stages of the Champions League in one of the easiest groups we've had in a long while, a terrible cup run in the FA & Carling Cup and a diabolic league title run that saw us 8 points clear at one stage, even with all our shortcomings? Jesus smh

the thing thats on our side is we've missed a lot of key players. Fletcher and Vidic have been unavailable basically all season nani missing a lot as well and they are all massive players in our team. So even if we only add one or two new players, those two coming back and the youngsters developing that bit more, we will be a lot stronger than we are now
