me? yes i would, same as cat, and iv got a cat too. If i went abroad and it was on offer i would eat it. I am a meat eater and its in the food chain end of the day, regardless if me or anyone else thinks of it as a fluffy pet

It is false advertisement but theres also health risks, most of the horses being sent for slaughter have not been specifically bred for meat, and at one point in their lifes they have been someones pet meaning they have been given regular worming routines, vaccines & perhaps recieved other forms of drugs for pain relief..Meaning they are not suitable for human consumption.  The cattle, lambs  & pigs that are bred specifically for meat are not treated for any of these things because their life span is about 1/3 yrs where as horses is up to 30 and are not over fed with fattening up products because in the long run it causes laminitis a form of diabities in horses and would cause the same diseases in cattle, sheep & pigs if they were kept alive for this long.  So if your happy filling your body with god knows what just because it tastes good then carry on but not all of us will eat anything in slight.
