The homophobic reasoning was trash

So far off the mark its ridiculous. Its not hip hop either

Not as trash as being oblivious to the problems in the black community.

Who is oblivious?

And there is no black community.

You talk a lot of trash when it comes to race. I rather be oblivious to a problem than make up offkey leftfield, unhelpful, verging on detrimental reasons for it

I think we all need to move away from this idea that its only black people that kill eachother .

glasgow is even worse than london .

guess what they are white ,.....same with areas like Lancashire and Southampton ,those areas have just as big a problem with gang related stabbings and shootings and guess what they are white . Do your research ,all you have to do is look at english teen killings(not just london) to know that whites stab eachother as much ...http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7777635.stm .

Anyway let me explain some ish to you guys .

Its about the things you go through, the things you have seen and the hurt and pain you have felt ...

Its no secret that black people have been through the most out of every race, and when you go through things sooner or later you say f*ck it , i aint taking sh*t from no one  .

You can be a black man living  in the hood and see numerous of your friends get murdered , get harrased, racially abused and beat up by police, get abused and see your ppl dem get racially  murdered by white people and nothing get done about it . Sooner or later you will say f*ck it i aint taking sh*t from no one .

Same way you can be of pakistani origin and see the british and the yanks dropping bombs on your people ,sooner or later you will say f*ck it ,i aint taking sh*t from no one , anyone who even looks at me will get it .

Same ways you could be a white guy living in a council estate in liverpool and see your dad come home drunk every night and beat up your mum .

Sooner or later you will say f*ck it i aint taking sh*t from no one .

Fair enough black people we should know better, but one there are reasons for this sh*t and two , we aint the only ones doing it

no these are nothing but excuses

we need to stop making excuses and accept we just violent unnseaaryrily

/

how many 'black' raves have i been to that have been locked off for fighting compared to predominately white ones

you guys subconsuisuly know- where there is a large group of blacks particularly males - there will be trouble - its sad tbh

i accept responsibility for my actions as well

for example at wireless most people that were pushing in were young black males like myself - why because we felt we could - why? because noone will stand up to us- why because we are black and if they did they wouldve got handled quickly (not physically) stupid mentatlity i know but it is true

why do you think most security guys are black

there was even an article in the guardian as to unemployment for black males is low but found high employment in security - thats because the stereotype of beiung hard/ strong is obv needed in that sector

They are not excuses they are reasons .

Yes we need to wise up and take responsibilities but like i said they are the cause of all this

How can poverty be an excuse?

How safe do you think you will be in a rave in Tijuana?

It's more detrimental and unhelpful to be oblivious to a problem than to explore possible reasons for it.

There is no black community, ok.

hip hop what about violent films and games then? @caine

i dont think games influences the black youth, but i agree, some films do(paid in full etc) but for me hip hop has to take most of the blame.

hip hop is the most trendiest culture out there today, for instance look at the ciroc hype( u would think diddy owns it), look at the jay-z " my rollie dont tick tock" hype, n now look at the trinidad james"molly" hype.

I dont think some artist (RICK ROSS)know how influencial hip hop is,they would rather shift the blame on there "environment" when really der the ones whos fuckin it up.

i mean look at chicago, now im not saying chief keef doesnt deserve a chance in life but he has too much "power" for a 17/18,interscope should be ashamed.

Common was probably the only prominent rapper from Chicago in the 90's, and it was worse than it is now. The Chief Keefs of this world weren't born bad mate.

I see homophobia in a similar light to how misogyny in black music has had a hand in perpetuating the vast array of negative behaviour that it does.

I don't think we fully understand the far reaching consequences yet.

If anybody doubts what I am saying about homophobia and opposing behaviour just look at football.

Not 1 current day footballer in England has come out as being gay, why?

Because football is seen as a mans sport, all the physical attributes that a footballer has to have, these are seen as being opposite from homosexual traits no?

Are there gay footballers playing in professional football in England, of course.

And this is an industry where homosexuality is rarely spoken about, what about the effects of an environment where homosexuality is actively rebuked?

You've said this before but fact of the matter is people have cable, rappers from all parts of America could have been seen in the 90's.
