Manchester United are locked in a three-way battle for Spain's next superstar Saul Niguez.

United coach Phil Neville jetted to Madrid last night after the 2-0 win over Swansea to watch the Atletico Madrid midfield ace - currently on loan at Rayo Vallecano - in action today.

Arsenal and Chelsea are also in the hunt for the 19-year-old, who has been a revelation in La Liga this season.

United coach Neville watched Spain Under-21 star Saul as Rayo Vallecano faced Getafe today, after David Moyes pulled out of the trip.

Moyes jetted instead to Italy for Juventus against Cagliari. The United boss was understood to be running the rule over Cagliari defender Davide Astori, and Juventus attacking midfielder Arturo Vidal, who has 13 goals already this season.

United's interest in Saul has been given greater urgency by the knowledge Arsenal and Chelsea are also tracking the highly-rated youngster.

Neville may also be looking at Rayo defender Alex Galvez, the subject of a bid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

Drake, an ambassador for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, praises Tim Leiweke and discusses his bond with Jermain Defoe.

Drake's role as an ambassador for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, which includes the NBA's Toronto Raptors, the NHL's Maple Leafs and the MLS' Toronto FC, has been seen as an influential one. This was particularly discussed when Jermain Defoe signed on as a member of Toronto FC. Drake recently spoke about his role in the soccer player's move to Toronto.

"I don’t know if I had an influence on him coming here," Drake said in an interview with Toronto Sun. "I think that all I did was give him the necessary information about a city he didn’t know much about. I told him how great it’s been to me, and how great I assumed it would be to him. We had a great conversation. We built up a personal relationship. I’m excited to see him begin his career here. I just do what I can. [Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment president Tim Leiweke] is the boss. It’s all Tim, really. I was just a piece of the puzzle, I guess."

Glad you are signing him instead of  us

Means we are going for a top class player instead

Europa League final last year suggests he's far from average, or have you seen something that suggests he wont continue to develop?
