Flojo Posted March 20, 2014 Report Share Posted March 20, 2014 The documentaries I've watched on Chicago made me feel a way, it's so fucked up that it's difficult to see hope for the vast, vast majority of people who happen to be born in those districts of the city. They've basically been isolated and left to their own devices in a breeding ground for negativity, nothing good was ever going to come of that and I refuse to believe that the powers that be couldn't foresee what's happening right now. Some of the more subtle nuances of the situation are deep like the South side of the City being the most disconnected urban district in the country (I think that's what the woman on the documentary said) which makes the practicality of the basics such as travelling to work a problem unless you have a car.
