I think Marvel failed in that they've tried too hard to appeal to a younger audience. Everything is overly obvious.

That's their market though and sadly.

 

No point in overlooking your #1 audience, they're owned by Disney who have the nous in marketing to that demographic.

yeah its unfortunate, hopefully Deadpool will be a bit better considering it's rated R (which is 18 I guess?) though I can still see it just being the same level of simplicity just with R rated language and violence

 

Daredevil was good though, but I guess with TV series its different to movies
