I fear for the marvel movies after the last avengers and seeing civil war trailer

The problem is they stay having him fight people that a mile below his level, and the fact that it's easy to write him as some sorta deus ex machina

His story isn't about who he can defeat, its more about how he lives in this world

I wouldn't say slopped together, they'll have to adapt it but hopefully it still comes out as a good movie in it's own right.

 

Always hard when you've come from the source and then watch the live action adaptation in a lot of case. My aunty doesn't rate the LOTR  trilogy that much compared to the books, while those films are my top 5 selected.

 

I would probably have her opinion though if I came from the book first.

They didn't show the bald Lex yet who i assume will be darker.  

 

This film is a filler for 6/7 DC characters remember.  Don't think anyone will play their role 'properly' apart from Batman and Superman.

He's killed before in the modern age comics and this is essentially an origin story.

 

The motivations as to why he doesn't kill or a lot of his 'principles' have to be shown.
