arent people getting the whole "give back" thing wrong though? what exactly does giving back achieve? a good samaritan award? the best way to give back is to invest, to take back so to speak. and to empower people to improve themselves take black hair care industry for example, its £2billion annual industry, with 99% of black people mainly consumers. an uncle of my friend is one of just 2 black distributors of whole sale hair products, he supplies most of the stores in London with his help 3 of his staff went on to run their own shops with him as their main distributor. thats and example of giving back, he also dismisses the myth that people claim asian wholesalers sell their products much cheaper to their people and higher for blacks, making the black people sell their products in their shops for more. he said he supplies most of the asian shops and black shops alike..same price. the difference is the Asian guys take on his advice, and they stock accordingly. he has advised his black retailers, and they rarely take it on board. so they keep their stock..and end up with alot of unsold products, then they raise prices of other popular goods to break even another problem is the location of stores. he has advised some black start ups about choosing their location, and this was ignored, only to see them close down within a short period. why? cos they chose to locate round the corner from the high street or most popular part because it was a few thousand cheaper. the asian store will be located on the high street, paying the premium in rent but will break even. another thing was staffing.. the black stores will have 2 staff (again to cut costs), then they get lots of goods stolen, and they raise prices or just get bad attitude with customers because they somehow expect that a black person will for some crazy reason NOT choose to steal from a black owned shop. so in the end most customers leave and go on to buy from the asian shop next door, who employed 10 staff from the beginning to avoid theft loss and make a profit, and the black shop will again shut down in a few months. it wont take magic for black people to control their own industry, it just takes an application of simple business sense, not black business sense. MOST people have no loyalty so playing the race card in business is just foolish. its very possible for black people to retake back the high streets and whole sale of their own hair care products, and open other businesses that EVERYONE patronises. thats how people can "give back" in my opinion. the best tool for "power" is economic power, not a million marches, or having endless debates expecting people to treat you better in this selfish world. you have to make them see you by being on their level

The majority of West Africans in this country i.e Ghanaians and Nigerians speak English as well. yes we know that but you are missing the point what language do they speak in say Jamaica for example other than english? when there is a language barrier it will effect a group because in order for people outside of it to be involved more they need to learn the language in the Caribbean they already speak english so a quick link up is not hard at all and it stands to reason why the Caribbean would have indication of more men and women dating outside of the race, I am surprised you didn't point this out before anyone else. I think the top 3 in the league will be from the North West, i think it'll be more of a case of Arsenal fighting it out with Chelsea and Spurs (yes spurs) for 4th Adebayor will have a stormer, its just written aint it.
