Maybe in 10 years time. The fact remains that the glory hunters are the United fans as the Chelsea fans on here who have supported the club all their lives grew up when Chelsea were climbing up from mid table. United fans grew up when you were the top dogs.BTW im not calling all United fans glory hunters some of you have dads who have dads who have dads that grew up supporting united fair do's. However a lot of you started supporting United as kids because they were top of the league. Thats why there are so many liverpool fans in London they are product of having glory hunters for fathers and now they are paying the price for it.

I think the whole glory hunter thing is because most of us are from London. Its mainly down to ethnic make up of London to be honest-Like 98% of Asians support either Man U or Liverpool (that Ive met, im sure round Newham there's a fair few west ham)-With black people all the freshies support Man U or Arsenal (some Chelsea now), but when it comes to say the Black British that have been here for years then you get more supporting they're local, like the Black Arsenal or Yids in North London or like Birmingham City got quite alot of black fans aswell. But you get the JCL's who dont come from footballing families, so jus support Arsenal.-I find greeks and cypriots tend to support either arsenal or spurs, never met a single one of them who support a northern team.Ive never met a white English Man United supporter in London, unless his relatives come down to London (like alot of Northerners have over the years).

Man Utd have the most. When you think about it, there must be alot in Manchester and up North. And then in most schools in London Man Utd are the most supported team nowadays or atleast 2nd//3rd most.Ive noticed Arsenal gettin more Northern support over the years from northern aways, but nowhere near the scale of Man U in London. How old are you Anelka btw?

your fanbase is THAT big because you have been the best team, do you honestly think if say Man City and Man U swapped histories Man U would still have the most "real" fans? The way I see it most clubs have roughly the same ammount of "real" fans, if Man U dropped 2 divisions and didnt win anything for 50 years their fanbase would eventually shrink to similar levels of clubs in those leagues (would still be more cos of the history)
