Büttner can switch between left-back & LWB, trained at Ajax, disciplined as well as a potent attacking threat. Evra has competition. #MUFC

Büttner, once passes medical, will sign a 5y contract. International level: not yet capped but is in LVG thinking. Willems: incumbent. #MUFC

I agree when Fergie leaves you're fucked.

Too many managers want to try complicated football models and fancy heirachal structures.

What I love about Fergie is he keeps it simple, 2 wingers, 2 strikers, strong 4 in the centre of the park.

Hasn't done too bad with that over the years.

Dennis Irwin or Steve Bruce to take over would be my choice but be careful going for some fancy forgiener.

In the past Sky bet has also slashed odds on Hazard to United, Ozil to United, Sniejder to United etc.

Yea but an offer was accepted for Hazard from United and Sneijder himself blatently thought he was joining us so that doesn't make for a good argument. Rumour mill is rife and some people have obviously waisted a sh*t load of money to make his price drop from 50/1 to 1/5 in the space of 24 hours.

I would take him on year long loan no problem. Wouldn't buy him though.

sh*t load of money to make his price drop from 50/1 to 1/5 in the space of 24 hours.

You have no idea how bookmakers work mate.

In a market like that a bookmaker would have about a liability of around £2-5,000 at the absolute maximum and it only takes one twat to have £250 on @ 10/1 for them to shortern into 1/5.

They move the price when they want to cause an illusion of support whilst pushing out others but more than likely this market will be closed soon with their old adsiversy "we saw money for it" to make up for producing such unethical fantasy shit.

Alexander Buttner joins Manchester United as defensive cover

• Vitesse Arnhem player moves as back-up to Patrice Evra

• Transfer causes some surprise in Holland

Manchester United have bought the left-back Alexander Buttner from Vitesse Arnhem, according to the Dutch club. The fee is undisclosed but is not thought to be more than £3.9m for a player who has never been capped by Holland.

Buttner, 23, has been bought by Sir Alex Ferguson as cover for Patrice Evra, with Fabio Da Silva, his former understudy, on loan at Queens Park Rangers.

Buttner had also interested QPR and Southampton before his transfer to Old Trafford.

Although he is yet to play for Holland he was part of a pre-Euro 2012 squad that trained while some of the senior players took a break.

The move to United has caused some surprise in Holland as he is still considered a player of raw potential.

Buttner said: "I'm travelling to Manchester this evening [sunday] and I'm very delighted that such a big club bought me."

If it happens Fergie is moving like a prick.

Where is he gonna play?

How is he going to stop teams walking through our midfield?

Would Kaka have stopped Feilani pissing on us last season?

Fergie SMH. Can't read the guy at all.

We lost on goal difference last year .

With van persie, kagawa and maybe kaka that will NOT happen again .

And we got vidic back
