Bebe couldnt get in a 25 man squad and youve only named 24 players....

he must be real sh*t.

Manchester United's new signing Bebe has been included in the club's UEFA Champions League squad.

It was initially thought that the 20-year-old had been left out of their list of 25 players for the forthcoming group stages.

But Uefa have now confirmed that the former Vitoria Guimaraes player is on the list and would be available for Tuesday's opening game against Rangers at Old Trafford should manager Sir Alex Ferguson require him.

The winger is still working on his match fitness and the Old Trafford supremo is more likely to give the youngster his debut in the Carling Cup tie at Scunthorpe the following week.

he would've got sent off today, but he'll be back against Rangers and will bag 2, cue certain areas of the media waxing lyrical about how SAF has reformed the rebel. Despite him still being a hot head,

I'm dissapointed, i always believe that what a player does in his personal life is the business off the club as it all reflects back on us, and now especially as it is having a direct effect on the team as he has now been left out of a very difficult game.

wonder if the captain gambit was played during the contract negotiations.

saying that though, i still wouldnt be suprised to see Rio become captain despite Saf's claims about injuries and what not.

Saying all that though i'd whole heartedly prefer Vidic to be captain than Rio,

Feel for Nev though, guess it really is signalling the start of the real end of an era.

to put it simply, i cant stand the f*ck, ( got nothing to do with his footballing ability)

And having him as captain is a accident/scandal waiting to happen.

Just as he was redeeming himself in some peoples eyes, that party/orgy he arranged that x-mas showed what he was all about,

Thats all well and good, but it doesnt take away from the fact that Rio >>>>> Vidic as captain.

This is blatently a ploy to keep Vidic here. Discussed in the recent contract negotiations.

Tom Cleverley is hoping to be given the opportunity to get one over on Manchester City this weekend.

The 21-year-old is desperate to make his first start for loan employers Wigan against the Blues on Sunday.

The highly-rated midfielder joined the Latics on a season-long agreement from Manchester United over the summer and is determined to make his mark against the Red Devils' bitter rivals.

Cleverley, who impressed on his debut against Sunderland last time out, is now looking to catch the eye of Wigan coach Roberto Martinez in training and secure a place in his starting XI.

He told the Wigan Evening Post: "Obviously I'd love to get one over United's rivals on Sunday, if selected.

Focus

"It's games like this that I came to Wigan to play, and hopefully we can do something against them.

"I only got 20 minutes against Sunderland but it was nice to get out there on the pitch.

"Obviously the circumstances were difficult, 1-0 down and they were just sitting in there. But we equalised and could even have won it at the end.

"My focus now is getting a good week of training under my belt and proving to the gaffer I deserve a place on the pitch against City."
