Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been confirmed as the new manager of Molde after leaving his role as reserve-team boss at Manchester United.

Sad to see him finally leave the club

Apparently wants King and Eikrem on loan...

Neville rumoured to be next in line makes sense and would be a good deal for every party involved

He gets manager exp and rafael gets more games and no more wasted subs brining him on when 1-0 down

Someone break the article down, What's it saying?

In a nutshell, the PIK loans that were increasing significantly (due to the excessive interest rates) are getting paid off & the money isn't being taken from the club.

But the whole thing is ambiguous.....there's no mention of where the money is coming from.

In the grand scheme of things, they could have just secured a loan elsewhere that demands less interest and paid off the ridic PIK loans.

No-one knows...only time will tell

Gill -

What happens on the pitch is crucial to all of our off-the-field aspirations and we have to understand that. So someone coming in to take over Manchester United will have to have that pedigree, will have to have that logical success and achievement because it's such a big club.

But I think the other key asset, or key requirement for someone coming in, is to understand the history and heritage of the club, to understand how we work commercially and what we aim to achieve and to get the right balance there and make sure we can continue as seamlessly as possible as we have done under Sir Alex.

Those are the things but identifying that person is not easy but I'm sure we'll get it right when that times comes and I stress that we don't know when that is."

...

"Obviously at some stage Alex will retire, whenever that may be.

"What we're doing with him, with his coaches and scouts, is getting a great squad with the right age profile so that a new manager coming in - yes, he will probably want to change one or two players, that's always the way, or two or three - but he won't need to make wholesale changes.

"There will be a sensible transition to the new manager. So that's where we're at. As I say, it's not something we worry about. We worry about other things but we don't worry about that."

Manchester United appear to have opened talks with Aalesund over Danish international goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard.

Aalesund chairman Bjarne Haagensen has revealed that he is currently in England with Lindegaard's agent Henrik Hoff, to talk with United.

Haagensen admitted that a deal to take Lindegaard to Old Trafford could be just hours away.

"Henrik and I are in place in Manchester," Haagensen told TV2.

Asked if a deal was close, he responded: "It is. We are in the middle of it. I can't say more right now. We will send a press release in three or four hours."

Lindegaard himself is returning to his club after keeping a clean sheet against Czech Republic - but he would not comment on the rumours of an imminent switch.

"I have only heard the rumours about United, I have absolutely no comment," the 26-year-old told VG.
