but why should that be a reflection of his atitude

who wouldnt but a luxury car if they could afford to

thats a silly variable to form an opinion on

kompressor and his football politics<

Think he's trying to imply Zaha thinks he's made it before he's made it

Like when people use to laugh at Bently in his hummer when he was 18

However its not all connected, the most talented and hardworking youth could also buy himself a nice car

Writing was on the wall from when he went out and bought a R8 and Powell stuck with a Corsa. Looked bad by comparison and has done nothing to redeem himself.

:/

Funny thing is while Kompressor put Powell on a pedestal for choosing a bummy Corsa over a R8 he left out the part about him picking up a 14 month ban for drinking and driving in that Corsa.

You can say I'm putting him on a pedestal if you like, what I'm saying is the straight comparison is something that can be added as something to beat him over the head with. Him buying a R8 then getting his head down and doing his thing would've been fine. The constant word about the guy is he's super talented with a questionable attitude. Sometimes you just gotta play the game abit.

Powell might well be a card carrying EDL mber for all I know, all I know is the comparison could raise eyebrows.

Rooney has/had a liking for prostitutes, however had he been one of them that turned up for training on the Saturday whilst Zaha took the offer of the day off in that instance he'd of looked bad in comparison, doesn't mean he's a worse person or that he's going to hell while the other isnt.

It may be a silly variable on its own, but one straw doesn't break a camels back. You load that mother fucker up and see what happens eventually though.

Van Gaal: Zaha will get chance

Louis van Gaal is pleased with the way Wilfried Zaha has trained so far in pre-season and may give the winger a run-out in Manchester United’s next tour game.

After Saturday’s 3-2 win over Roma in Denver, Zaha is the only member of the Reds' 26-man squad who hasn’t yet played in the USA.

It led to a reporter asking in van Gaal’s post-match press conference whether the 21-year-old was unfit, a question to which the manager responded with typical candour.

"There is no Manchester United player who is fit," the manager declared. "Maybe the boys who have trained already before the tour, the ones who started on 7 July, are a little more fit.

"But the World Cup players are not fit. They have only had four days of training sessions, in the heat. So you cannot say they are fit.

"I have a lot of players who can play in the strikers’ positions. I have already said that our selection is not in balance. I can put six strikers in.

"So maybe next time I will put Zaha in because he is working hard. He is doing all the things I require or demand, so there is no problem."

Wayne Rooney has sparkled so far in the States, scoring twice at the Sports Authority Field to take his tally to four in two games. But van Gaal was reluctant to single him out for praise.

When asked if Rooney had adapted to his new system, van Gaal replied: "You are right but I don't think we have to discuss one player. We have to discuss the team and the team is performing."

You have to pay to read the article but this is a summary of it that someone did on redcafe:

- When he was 14, he spent his time alone studying with the coach Rinus Michels.

- Spent no time imposing his methods on the squad when he came to Carrington 11 days ago.

- In LA, United were staying at the Beverly Wilshere hotel. van Gaal wasn't happy with the squad having to make a 25-mile trip four times a day between hotel and the place where he was running twice-daily training sessions, so he had the club book rooms at the Holiday Inn closer to the stadium. Players could eat then sleep at hotel after morning sessions before training in afternoon.

- Asked for same in Washington DC. His logic is that he is determined to maximise every minute with his squad on the inner workings of a technically challenging system. He was angry when training was delayed the day before the match in LA because the team bus was caught up in rush hour traffic.

- Under Mancini, City's players complained they didn't spend enough time on training ground working on 352 formation he briefly introduced with poor results in his last season there. LVG doesn't want the same to happen at United.

- At open training in Denver, LVG had all coaches in matching outfits right down to each wearing black Nike boots (Giggs' boot sponsor Reebok might not have been impressed). He also got staff to go to Denver in advance to ensure dining arrangements were in order.

- LVG insists that senior squad each lunch with coach and academy players at 1pm to give some discipline and team spirit through the club.

- United chef has been run off feet in America catering to LVG's dietary stipulations for the squad. When becoming Holland coach in 2012, he had a floor of the hotel where the Dutch squad stayed refurbished to create a big meeting room (he called it safe haven) with table tennis, card tables and flat-screen tvs.

- Holland team bus was similarly designed before World Cup.

- Most impressed by Evans from the CBs, whose passing and distribution he considers superior to Jones and Smalling.

- LVG wants one/two additional ball-playing centre-backs (one must be left-footed).

- Vermaelen fits the bill and Hummels is another leading target.

- Though LVG likes players to use both feet, he insists on passing drills that balls are hit to individual's preferred foot (Precision, pace, control, awareness the buzzwords).

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal described his team's display as "not good" despite a 3-2 win over Roma in the United States.

Wayne Rooney struck twice and created a goal for Juan Mata as United hit three first-half goals in Denver. But Van Gaal suggested his best passers were off-form - picking out Mata, Ander Herrera and Shinji Kagawa.

"I am pleased that we have won but it was not a good performance," the Dutchman said."54,000 people came to watch us but we can perform much better."All my good passers failed today. I think it was because of the height and the air.

"Mata, Herrera and Kagawa - these are the best passers (at the club), and everything went wrong."
