2-0 at halftime

Decent enough pretty slow paced game on a whole, so the only person up to speed is Berbatov, bum chu!!! (waits for applause)

Anderson with the goal after Berbatov started behaving all godly around the penalty area,

Park with the second

Youngs been quiet but no biggie, Jones' been steady at RB under not a lot of pressure, Lindegard's still doing his Danish blokes impression, looking steady

The Beckham worship is cringewortht considering the opinions of many when he first left, but it's what you expect now.

Tbh Saturday will be the first real test of pre-season.

Guest M12 Part 2

Matty James needs another operation.

That spells the end of his united career IMO. If he's lucky he can go straight back in at championship level.

In all honesty, the number 1 shirt is only as up for grabs as it's ever been, despite Lindegards very good performances, De Gea has the spot to lose,

He'll be an excellent number 2 though, saying that, thought the same if PIG and that started out ok aswel.

Good few days of games,

Select 11 goin over to France today, 6pm on Espn,

Smalling, Park, Evra, Jones, Gibson and Pogba apparently all gonna feature.

Van Der Sar's testimonial on Wednesday,

Scholes' testimonial on Friday,

Charity sheild on Sunday.

Manchester United chief scout Martin Ferguson has reportedly been in Sweden to cast his eye over AIK Solna striker Teteh Bangura.

According to Expressen, Ferguson - brother of United boss Sir Alex - was in attendance for AIK's encounter against Elfsborg in order to make an assessment on Bangura.

However, when pressed for comment, Ferguson was reluctant to reveal whether or not he had been acting on behalf of United.

"I don't talk to the press," he told Expressen. "It's the manager who looks after it. I'm just here to see matches."

Bangura, a Sierra Leone international, has been attracting almost unprecedented interest in recent weeks, with previous reports claiming no fewer than 11 clubs have had representatives watch him in action.
