I saw one vid of his recently, first Tef I've heard in years and thought the same thing..imo You can't really take a lot of UK Rap seriously because a lot of them would love to be American

 

A lot of them listen to Yank Rap and it affects their music subconsciously

 

So from a listeners POV, why listen to the immitation when I can access the real thing.. that is why I liked Grime so much, because it was original

 

Don't get me wrong there has always been an American influence, always will be but now it has gone overboard
