Lieutenant Posted January 26, 2010 Report Share Posted January 26, 2010 f*ck*ng biggest dilemna ever.After injuries and the snow finally got back into the team and scored 2 on saturday.Got a call today from a job I applied for last week saying I have an interview tomorrow. But if I am selected I need to be available for CSLA training for the next 2 saturdays from 9-4pm meaning I can't make football. The job is only for 10 weeks and 4-6 hours a week at £15 a hour. But it is mentoring and coaching kids in secondary school and it would be good for my CV as that is the sort of career I wanna be involved in.The thing with football is competition is stronggggg for places and now that i'm in the team I wanna keep my place. I asked all the other trainees and none are going so I'm not going. Had discussed it with one woman who's about 28. She's cool and I told her I wasn't going if they didn't go. She said she was only going coz it was opposite her house so she had no excuse.This morning my manager asks me if I'm going and I say no. She asks why and I said I was going cinema. Just came out. As I'm going home I go to the room my manager's in to give her something. She asks if I'm going again and I say no. She tells the people in the room I'm going to the cinema. Bare people in the room at this point. Everyone's like "How can you not go? What you going to see?" So I said Avatar. I was fully aware that I had told that woman I'd seen Avatar but figured that because she knew I just didn't wanna go she would know I'm lying and just shut the f*ck up. But NO. "I though you'd already seen it!?"f*ck!Had to lie about I wanna see it bare times and it's amazing and reh teh teh. I'm sure nobody believed me and I just got out of there as quickly as possible but f*ck*ng hell. Why couldn't she just shutup!? Now everybody knows I will lie if pushed.
