Pay it off you wanna have clean credit maybe not now but in the future at some point you will need to lend. Also without knowing what companies they are I don't know how it will effect as some companies are more effective at chasing debt and stopping you from getting anything while its outstanding than others.

As for the car finance only one way to find out and it costs nothing to try.

Then more of a chance, but like I said the only way is to test, as it all based on criteria.

 

Things like time at address, being on electoral roll, age, occupation/employer and time in both are equally important.

 

CCJ are killers, but they too knock off, and at the same time if you have proved you have borrowed, can pay back on time and even settled an account it all matters.

 

But yeah people think testing to see if you can obtain credit is an obligation to take out the credit, it isn't, it will fall off and take Mercedes for example, there search is so soft, it didn't even show on my credit file and they are one of the more fussy.

Volkswagen say the issues is with older models of VW's and not with the new EU6 models, so it shouldn't be an issue as of today, but the confidence in them has been hit hard, had 2 people in the midst of buying them suddenly want to change to Mercedes... One was for a Scirocco which isn't one of the cars VW admitted too either.

I very much doubt they was the only ones though doing it.
