Cons - warranty (easily sorted)

Pro's - you can do pretty much anything with your device. Custom roms are the biggest plus point of rooting (more functionality and optimised rom)

After I root a device I just browse XDA and find out what I can do

Yh. I was tryna transfer stuff to the Galaxy Tab on a Mac and it was terrible. Why has Android got this new android transfer thing instead of it just opening up as USB mass storage like the old ones did?

Also if you wanna move certain videos and it fails, just rename the extension to a non-video format and then change it back once you've moved it over.

Yeh they use MTP now. I was wondering why all you guys having problems when its easy for me, but OSX doesnt fully support MTP, thats why you get all those problems.

Only works on Ice Cream Sandwich as far as I'm aware

having flash and rooting have nothing to do with each other

 

-if you root you won't lose flash - tho you'll lose your apps (inlcuding flash) if you flash a custom rom, but you can back them up beforehand

-you can install flash without rooting - the apk is floating around the internet

Don't think many bothered with the S3 Mini after it came out that it was much lower spec than S3. You're probably better off with Nexus 4, though I can't say I even know the specs of that.

there isn't really best ,just what suits you best

Im using firefox atm i like opera aswel and that my best if didn't have issues with websites loading i it correct

the stock browsers are quite good aswell

For downloading apk's I use dolphin. The stock browser and Chrome are good for everything else.

There is no best browser really as gattsu said

Opera mini uses a proxy so you won't get that over 18 O2 verification page.

should just work in any browser (except Chrome), maybe turn off a browser if you had it open beforehand
