you should change your profile privacy settings so your name gets greyed out to people who you are not friends with and no one can find you nor can they add you.

ye on most peoples profiles, u cant see their page info etc but there is still a friiend request option on their page and u can see their display pic, however on this profile setting option, no one can add u nor can they see your profile pic, u get greylisted basically.
