Superstition
M&S and Sainsburys do good dry aged 28 day sirloin, M&S and Waitrose are best for fillet steak Some Asda sirloin used to be really good top/short side loin, excellent value coz same as regular price, but last year they cut costs and been puttin out ordinary sirloin, slightly disappointing but still decent value and can be tenderised for quality ironically a lot of supermarket steaks kind of suffer because of the efficiency of food sealing, refridgeration and transport in the Wal-Mart style production line, means it ends up on your local shelf within a couple days of the abattoir, when good beef is improved by a week or two of ageing
