dubs i shudda warn you, its not about puttin in brown sugar like its cereal

its literally just to set off your milk, less than a t'spoon, even that depends on the size of your pot

truesay i do everything by eye now so i forgot about measurements n stuff, but u will get the swing of it and start realising when you need more of this and less of that

trial and error

how come u put sugar in?

god knows, one of the girls mentioned it back a few pages so I thought why not try it

it tastes good but I can tell I put in too much, thing is my chicken was sweet enough so it didn't really make sense

I need to actually plan meals in advance in the future instead of randomly picking up ingredients on the way home and seeing if they'll work

coconut milk

water

200g/7oz canned black beans, drained and rinsed

½ spring onion, trimmed, chopped

½ Scotch bonnet chilli

½ garlic clove, peeled

1 sprig fresh thyme

3-4 allspice berries

1 tbsp butter

¼ onion, roughly chopped

225g/8oz basmati rice, rinsed under cold running water

salt and freshly ground black pepper

is the best one ive used....

Honey and Soy Glazed Salmon

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon water

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

2 6-ounce salmon fillets

1. In a small bowl whisk together honey, soy sauce, lime juice, mustard, and water.

2. In a small non-stick skillet heat oil over moderately high heat and cook salmon 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden and just cooked through. Transfer salmon to 2 plates.

3. Add honey glaze to skillet and simmer, stirring, 1 minute. Pour glaze over salmon.

basicly same as what i do apart from i never use mustard and i put in a sh*t load of veg into foil with it and bang it in the oven
