What I'm saying is with the actual song it's a hit already, maybe there is another way though to get it out to the masses without radio.

Skrapz was in or amongst the album charts with very little if any radio support, what's to stop an artist with a hit to 1st use the link up tv ave and then use youtube ads targeted to chart songs to play a snippet of the chorus before a video for example.

There are other marketing mixes that can bypass radio imo and produce chart hits.

in a SK Vibemaker interview he goes on about how Sony decided they wanted to move without Jamal in regards to Maxsta and he took his opportunity

 

either the deal Sony gave Jamal was useless or he didn't know what to do with it because nothing really came out of it other than the "I Wanna Rock" tune
