Fathers leaving their children isn't normal either and is actually harmful but this doesn't get anywhere near as much attention as homosexuality. Yes I'm aware of that. I have also informed my father about the effects he's left on me. However... nobody is condoning fathers leaving their children, and that isn't what the topic is about. The amount of fuss people kick up over homosexuality versus absent fathers is like condoning it in a way. People are so concerned with trivial matters when more important issues stare them in their faces.
