Did I say anything about Barclay and United?! :/In-fact I very rarely make a claim about journos and united bias, more so about negative attitudes towards Pool/Ownership situation/Benitez. Which I think has been made very clear on this board that the main line of argument stems from that period. I don't listen to 5live either, because too many idiots like Collymore/Durham are on it.Sunday Supplement and 90% of sky commentators talk absolute poo, especially Andy Gray (unless he is swinging off Gerrard's testicles) Redknapp and Keys.Too further add to my point, about the idiotic journalism that is ever present in English sports media, someone just told me that Ian Wright said why didn't the board back Kenny Dalglish 6 months ago. :D

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal in principle with Steven Pienaar, having beaten off competition from Internazionale and Atlético Madrid with a contract worth £70,000 a week over four years. It is unclear, however, whether the north London club will pay around £2m to Everton this month to push the transfer through or wait until the summer when the South African midfielder would be available as a Bosman free agent.Everton would be reluctant sellers during this transfer window but the manager, David Moyes, has been told that he must generate funds for the three loan signings he feels he needs to make, with the priority a centre-forward. He also wants a right midfielder and centre-half.Pienaar's contract at Goodison Park expires at the end of the season and he has ignored the club's offer of fresh terms of £52,500 a week, which has been on the table since the end of the previous campaign. When Everton subsequently agreed terms of £75,000 a week with Mikel Arteta, Pienaar had hoped for parity but such a proposal has not been forthcoming.Moyes has said he would prefer to keep Pienaar for the remainder of the season, reasoning that forfeiting a transfer fee would be offset by the retention of a key player for the months ahead, particularly as Pienaar has continued to give his all for the club. Neither Moyes nor the Everton support has had reason to reproach Pienaar for his professionalism. The manager faces a difficult decision, though, because in spite of recent flickers from Louis Saha and Jermaine Beckford, he urgently needs a new striker. Everton have mustered only 23 goals in 21 Premier League matches. Unless Moyes can sign a striker this month who he thinks can improve the team, however, and there is currently no money available for one loan deal at Everton, his resolve to keep the former Ajax and Borussia Dortmund midfielder will harden.Harry Redknapp has tracked Pienaar for some time and although the Tottenham manager would appear to be well stocked at left midfield, where he has Gareth Bale, he knows that Pienaar can play in a central role, which he does for South Africa while he also feels that he would be a viable alternative to Aaron Lennon on the right.Redknapp's move for the 28-year-old ought not to be interpreted as paving the way for Tottenham to cash in on Bale, who is a target for virtually every top club in Europe after his excellent calendar year of 2010. One aspect of Redknapp's philosophy is that you can never have too many good players. He does see Bale developing in the longer term into a left-back but he and the club have repeatedly stressed that the Welshman is not for sale at any price. While Tottenham continue to hold talks over a loan move for David Beckham, who trained with the squad today, their interest in a second Everton player, the club captain Phil Neville, is unlikely to materialise into a transfer despite Redknapp's desire to add the 33-year-old's wealth of experience to his squad. The Everton chairman, Bill Kenwright, rebuffed an inquiry from his Tottenham counterpart, Daniel Levy, when the clubs met at Goodison last week and Neville's club are unhappy the interest has resurfaced when, as is the case with Pienaar, no offer has been made.Moyes said: "I spoke with Harry Redknapp briefly before the transfer window opened. Daniel Levy and Bill had an even briefer conversation at our recent game against Spurs and mutually agreed that this would go no further. At no time was any offer made – nor would one have been welcomed. Phil Neville is our captain and is an important part of the Everton set-up."

Thats only talksport mate, in the grand scheme of things they have limited influence compared to the big tabloids who all bumsuck Alex Ferguson, and of course Talksport are even smaller when compared to Sky Sports who has the resident Manc Andy Gray on their team.

Yeah Talksport is defo pro Liverpool I suppose that's what Kelvin Mckenzie had in mind when he founded it.
Well Horward Webb is defo pro Man Utd and thats the main reason he got into refereeing he fore-casted us entering a trophy drought and knew he was too old to become a world class baller to win us trophies so got his referee badges and worked his way up the leagues pretending to be unbiased then finally got to do Man Utd games and wamn single handedly won us games and replaced Ronaldo

^ :D /Gary Cahill 'to be cleared for Arsenal move' if David Wheater deal completesBolton are in hot pursuit of Middlesbrough centre-back David Wheater as they look to bring in a ready-made replacement for Arsenal-bound Gary Cahill.Alistair Potter - 11th January, 2011http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/852442-gary-cahill-to-be-cleared-for-arsenal-move-if-wheaters-bolton-deal-completesThe Trotters owners are keen to sell Cahill to the Gunners this month, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitting he is already tapping up various targets amid a defensive crisis at the Emirates Stadium. But Bolton boss Owen Coyle will not let his England international star leave the Reebok Stadium until he can guarantee a replacement will be coming in. Coyle sees Wheater, 23, as the perfect man to slot in for Cahill at centre-half - with the Boro star having had Premier League experience with the Riverside outfit in the past. And Bolton have offered £2.5million for their top target - although they are determined to recoup at least four times that amount by selling Cahill on to the title-challenging north Londoners. Wenger could find himself without long-term injury absentee Thomas Vermaelen for at least another two months after he suffered a setback in his recovery from an Achilles injury. Meanwhile, summer signing Sebastien Squillaci is also now on the sidelines meaning 18-year-old Ignasi Miguel could feature in Wednesday's Carling Cup semi-final at Ipswich. ‘Vermaelen had another setback on Saturday that we are concerned with,’ Wenger admitted. ‘I concede that, with this little setback from Thomas, we are in a situation where we will have to look around [at the transfer market].’
