Will be interesting to see how United bounce back from a loss tbh. Your squad isn't the greatest, but your winning mentality has been what has separated you from everyone else, will see how strong this mentality is at the weekend.

TBH after losing, then losing the players thru the week for internationals, having City at home is probably the ideal game for Fergie. They know not to lose focus.I wish United where playing Chelsea or a team where most of their players will train thru the week & get well drilled & organised.

we need to buy a new cb to replace rio in the summer coz evans and smalling aint gonna cut itlol at arsenal aswell. bunch of pussies who cant do physical or see games out. our loss doesnt look so bad as only shitty really benefited from it
Was just saying this to my boy. Evans is better overall but he really struggles with the physical aspect of the game. Headers and pace sometimes he gets found out. Especially as his positioning isnt always top notch. Smalling isn't as confident or ball playing as Evans. But his basic raw defending is better. Especially at united where the majority of goals we concede are from set pieces where some beast steals an extra yard and powers home a header. Or in the resulting scrambles after corners and long balls. Smalling has been far better at dealing with those kinda situations than Evans. And if you lose next week?United fans tell me Smalling is improving, while Evans is going backwards.

You can't have a sh*t match and score 4 goals. I don't care if they're are the only 4 touches you have in the game.
If you dont track back & Liverpool just ping balls & double team a inexperienced Kieran Gibbs, and you just look on not helping your team-mate, question marks might not be raised during that game, but over time they will.

Never seen a player do so little and so much at the same time as AA did in that game.
One of the best games I've ever watched, the shift of momentum was crazy. One moment I thought 'we've got this' a bit later 'Arsenal are gonna win this' repeat x5 for 90 minutes

Thats his game, when Arshavin was providing that magic, everyone let it slide especially Wenger. When I saw Arshavin tracking back and making a last ditch tackle against Huddersfield, it told me even he knows he aint contributing enough. This season he started to lose possesion in dangerous areas, Walcott dont even do that.
