you know it didn't even occur to me that the Caribbean got hit as well - peak how you have to go all the way to the Latin America section to read stories about it
Maybe not to US media, but if the UK media is barely giving Caribbean coverage when there's a higher number of Carribs in the UK than there are Americans - that's not right. Maybe if it was due to how it affected the economy (Wall St and such) that would warrant a larger focus on US, but they haven't mentioned it.

i was the news daily and didnt see anything about it hittin the carrib, all i saw was the build up to it with people reporting how hard its gonna hit the US and what measures are being taken, reliving New Orleans etc
