Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala have bid a staggering 30 million euros for Inter Milan's Samuel Eto'o.The wealthy club have Roberto Carlos in their ranks and have been able to conclude a deal for Yuri Zhirkov from Chelsea this summer.Eto'o, though would no doubt be their most flambouyant signing to date and they are pulling out all the stops to get him with a reported 20 million euros-a-year deal.Inter Sporting Director Marco Branca told www.gazzetta.it: "There has been an informal meeting."We have listened to their proposal but given it is an important player, it is not a deal you can wrap up in an afternoon. We will reconvene."The 30-year-old is one of the most decorated players in world football, and his signature would make it easier to attract over marquee names from Europe.Eto'o is a four-time African Footballer of the Year and also has two Champions League titles from his time at Barcelona. His first season at Inter Milan garnered a treble but there have been rumours that he is not totally settled in Italy, as he is yet to learn Italian yet.
