if Harry's not gonna say he's not taking the England job, he's pretty much a caretaker manager, and should be treated as such.should have no say on transfers, especially selling players.not about "too good for DOF", it's about someone who is gonna be at Tottenham next season building the squad

With regards to Modris's injury, Harry just said that basically there is f*ck all wrong with Modric but his heads not right which is why he's not in the squad.Right before it he claimed that Luka is "a great lad, great hard working triffic lad, wont find a nicer chap than Luka"f*ck off Harry.

Niko Kranjcar thinks Tottenham team-mate Luka Modric should not be vilified for wanting to leave the club for Chelsea.Modric has been at the centre of a summer-long pursuit from Tottenham's west London rivals, who this morning were reported to have lodged a third bid of over £30million for the player.Spurs chairman Daniel Levy remains adamant Modric will not be sold, but manager Harry Redknapp's admission that the Croatian is not focused enough to be considered for tonight's game at Manchester United has raised further doubts about his future.Kranjcar is a close friend of Modric thanks to the time they have spent together at White Hart Lane and on international duty with Croatia. He thinks the 25-year-old playmaker should not be criticised if he chooses to move to Stamford Bridge because of the displays he has put in for Tottenham since his arrival from Dinamo Zagreb three years ago.Kranjcar told the London Evening Standard: "It is his decision to make and something he has to go through with the club. No one deserves to judge him if he decides to go because he has given three fantastic years to the club."I think as a friend you support them no matter what they decide to do. He has played every game with his heart and if he gets an opportunity or the club decide to sell him, everyone should support his decision. It is his decision not ours and it's not up to us to convince him to stay or go."Redknapp said last night that Modric would not be in the squad for tonight's game at Old Trafford as: "His head's not in the right place."The Croatian may have played his last game for the club, but Spurs are notorious for doing their deals right up to the 11th hour of the transfer window so a transfer is still a distinct possibility.Should Modric remain, however, Kranjcar thinks he will give his all."If the club don't sell him he will continue to play his football for the club as always because he loves the game," the former Portsmouth midfielder added."He loves it too much not to give his best. Everyone should expect him to give his all to the cause. I'm sure he will put in a great performance when selected."Read more: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Luka-Modric-should-not-be-judged-if-he-moves-to-Chelsea-form-Tottenham-Hotspur-says-Niko-Kranjcar-article788911.html#ixzz1VlJ7dQSo Sign up for MirrorFootball's Morning Spy newsletter Register here

Apparently Harry had ANOTHER post-match pop at Levy last night. George Graham got sacked for having the temerity to tell the press he didn't think he had a big enough transfer budget, yet Harry gets away with routinely banging on about the same thing every week since he stepped in the door.

We are a f*ck*ng joke club and it's all down to Harry. People have been sacked for much less and Levy needs to just bite the bullet and get rid of him. How can he keep sending for Levy?! How can he say Modric is such a professional etc then go on 'strike' Don't care when people saying he's keeping him sweet. If he was going to play, he's going to play. We don't have to keep him sweet, for what reason? We going to end up selling him next season anyways. Not like we are pushing for top 4 anymore, harry has pretty much ruled that out and we don't want Europa so Harry wants us to be around 7th-10th.

Harry Redknapp insists Tottenham can win the Barclays Premier League title this season. While Spurs have struggled in the transfer market this summer, United, neighbours City, Liverpool and Chelsea have embarked upon spending sprees while Arsenal are sure to step up their activity in the transfer market soon following the departures of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas.Spurs have only been able to sign Brad Friedel on a free transfer and bring in Emmanuel Adebayor on loan as they seek their first league title in 51 years.Redknapp has been buoyed by Adebayor's arrival, though, and appears to have won his battle to keep influential playmaker Luka Modric at the club despite Chelsea's pursuit of the star. For that reason, Redknapp thinks his team are a match for any of their rivals and reckons topping the table next summer is a possibility. He said: "The favourites would be Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City, but it's not impossible for Liverpool to win it this year and I wouldn't write Arsenal off."They will be strong again and I wouldn't write Tottenham off this year either. It's not impossible."Roberto Mancini, unsurprisingly, has been a busy man in the transfer window this summer, with Nasri, Sergio Aguero and Gael Clichy moving to the Etihad Stadium to bolster a squad already gleaming with stellar names such as Carlos Tevez and David Silva.Redknapp saw his team pip City to fourth two years ago, but the 64-year-old underlined the difference between the two teams by claiming Mancini now has a better squad at his disposal than Barcelona.Nevertheless, Redknapp maintains that the likes of Rafael van der Vaart, Gareth Bale and Modric could grace any team in the league - something which gives him renewed optimism for the season ahead."It's hard to compete but we have good players here so we will compete with anybody," Redknapp added."We will be right there, pushing this year. It's hard to compete with them in terms of wages and spending but we have some quality and I'm happy with the way they are shaping up."Redknapp thinks City, who face Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Sunday, are destined to win trophies if wealthy owner Sheikh Mansour remains at the club. The Spurs boss admits he has been baffled at the extravagant sums City pay for transfers and wages, but has warned that winning trophies remains the barometer by which success should be judged."In terms of spending and everything else they are the biggest but they haven't got the tradition of Man United, Arsenal or Liverpool," Redknapp said. "For me Manchester United are still the biggest team."Despite having made only two new signings of note so far this summer, Redknapp is sure he will add more players to his squad by Wednesday night's 11pm transfer deadline.Spurs are locked in negotiations over a move for West Ham's Scott Parker and Lassana Diarra has also been strongly linked with the club. With question marks over the long-term fitness of William Gallas and Ledley King, Redknapp may consider a move for a centre-half after missing out on Phil Jones earlier this summer.Any new signings are likely to depend on whether Redknapp can move on the likes of Alan Hutton, Giovani Dos Santos and David Bentley - all of whom are surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane. There has been little interest in the trio so far this summer, but thinks all three would make decent signings for a developing Premier League team."If I was a team in the Premier League, probably without aspirations of being in the top six or seven, I'd say there are players here who would improve your team," Redknapp said.
