To be honest, i rated bbm massively at first but now, as shain said, its becoming some msn'y gimmick type thing. Ive had to have a clear up of contacts now and have just the circle and important/neccesary people on it.Also, anyone ever check out the crackberry forum themes? Some sick one's on there, this is definately the best and most handy ive seen about (f0r those on 8900): http://forums.crackberry.com/f129/free-theme-hypaereon-sliq-curve-8900-a-349923/

Did you ever use the storm though? It was fundamentally flawed! It wasn't like other touchscreen phones where you just tap the screen, you had to press it down quite hard! Was ridiculous! Unless they changed that then storm 2 will still be a sh*t phone!Only realised how good the internet is the other day when I tried to use my boy's old curve! sh*t was loading for aaaages! Meanwhile I had time to get my bold out and do what I had to do before a single page loaded on his curve!

BlackBerry tip: Every action on ur bb is logged which in time will slow ur bb down... At least once a week, hold ALT key and press LGLG (the letters) while on your home screen. Then click the Blackberry menu button and select "clear log" this keeps phone moving 100% faster!!!
got forwarded this like 10 times yesterday.

Easily the best site for anything Blackberry related. Been using it for themes for a couples years, using either the Appleberry Classic or the Android Hero theme.

I'm using a Storm 2 (9520) OS 5.0.402Wanted a change from the trackball BB's I had (8310 + 8900) plus wanted a bigger screen. The Bold 2 is an excellent buy for a first time BB user, but imo it just wasnt Bold enough. To me its basically my 8900 with 3G....which isnt a bad thing, but I felt I'd be buying the same phone again. Honestly they should have kept the dimensions of the 9000, which I hated at first.I also wanted the Storm because a)I like the look of the iPhone and b ) couldnt do without the BB email and BBM capabilities. The (surepress) touchscreen takes a little time to get use to but I when I first used an iPhone I also found that equally challenging...soWhat I dont understand is, people who moan about others taking BBM for MSN... If you add juvenile idiots on your contact list...then you will see juvenile behavior....!Another thing, the blackberry browser is indeed slow and sh*t... but you also have the option to download Bolt or Opera, I prefer the latter. But one things for sure, they are developing a new Webkit browser for Blackberry, which they say will bring it up to par with iPhone levels. Expect that some time next year.Anyway, in the couple years I've owned a BB I've gained a little knowledge, so if you need to know any more holla and I'll try and help.

Is there a way when i go abroad i can go online on my blackberry and not be charged for it?
I guess the only way you could do this was if you found a wifi hot spot.
So basically when i land i should go to Manage Connection > Mobile network OFF?
I'm not 100% sure, but I would assume so. Sounds logical enough to have data services turned off while roaming.
