Yeah. I got that plastic tool and T5 screwdriver as well

I broke a little bit of Mesh though.. You see that silver lining between the buttons.. the bit underneath the return button just broke off and I didn't even know how :| Heart sank for a few seconds.

Superglued it back on like the crafty badman I am.

Looks STEALTH.

I can't f*ck*ng take this anymore!! Whenever I receive a ping and my keypad is locked it opens it up as soon as I unlock the keypad!! It's enfuriating!!

I went to "messages" and went to settings and have the setting "Auto open newest message after removing device from holster" on "never". Why the f*ck is it doing this!?!? I can't f*ck*ng live like this!

What's version OS you running?

I was going to reply when you initially posted but you say you've switched off the auto open newest message option, so maybe it's an OS thing?

BTW what BB do you have?

Errrr, 5 I think. I updated it like 1 or 2 months ago and I think it's the latest one. Had this problem on my original OS as well. Got a Bold 9700.

Eks, updated OS's are dropping weekly, some I find are good some are quite sh*t. I've found that some of the ones recommended as 'most stable' and 'best releases' aren't always the best for my Bold 9700, they all vary. I still think the one I'm on now can have a few things fixed, like I get the hourglass appear a bit more than other releases, though it's something that doesn't bother me too much as I find it a more stable release than the last OS I had installed.

I'm currently using 5.0.0.656 (linked below) and I used to hate auto open new messages when removed from holster, I switched it off and it worked for me, so maybe try updating?

Try updating the OS to the one below through Apploader, but remember to delete vendor.xml and see if that works. If it doesn't use BSAK to completely erase everything off your blackberry then attempt a fresh install of the OS. I've never done this myself so can't say how easy/hard it will be but it seems straightforward from what I've read.

Remember to back everything up before you try this all though!

To be honest, I believe that if someone wants a iphone the most then theyre gonna be completely disapointed with a BB cause, allthough both being smartphones, theyre completely different.

C/S the hard to live without a bb though, I do know a few who where converted from iphone to the bb.

Theres a list about 5 or 10 pages back on all the best apps aswell so check that out but the best way would just be to go through the app world, because theres very few gimmick ones and more created for certain inparticular needs.

Just buy a Curve for BBM. Not worth getting it on contract. Its only like 150

I'm shook to add apps/games from the desktop manager 'cause every time i try something BBM always f*cks up and i lose bare contacts. Wish everything was simple like the .Cod files :(

Lol, sh*t like that is what made me get rid of this sh*t phone.

Stupid broadcasts.

Phone constantly needs repair. (Even though mine only went in once but everybodys does at least once)

Miniscule amount of apps

Email Push is the only good thing abuot BB.

These broadcasts make me HATE this phone. They genuinely believe that the broadcasts about BlackBerry checking active users etc is true.

F*cking morons.

These people are beyond stupid. They're like "ah but it might be true!"

Ignoring the fact that the whole idea of it is ridiculous, why would the basically message start "OK guize, this onez actually true yeah so make sure you forward it on okay?" if it was actually from BBM? f*ck*ng morons. Got it from 2 people. Both chicks. Both from the North. SNM.
