It's a brilliant show in it's own right but I wouldn't have it sitting side by side with the likes of Sopranos, Game of Thrones etc.

Its crazy how quickly BB has picked up pace in the last year though. The Wire all over again but thanks to netflix instead of bootleg DVDs

 

Been watching this since bout 2009 and I see people moaning on twitter who blitzed it in the past month that they have to wait week by week

Was only recently that I have cruised through them all after a mate hyping on about how good it was. First 2 Seasons were quite slow, if I had of watched it like these guys back in 2009 I don't think I would of been as interested a year later in Season 2. I'd rate this in the high 8's.

Fair enough from what I've seen id place it on the same level as Oz.

I will finish watching it but The Wire is a work of art that is comparable to Shakespeare IMO.

I think, depending upon how it ends, it's easily in the top 3.

 

Sopranos being 1, Wire 2 & between this & West Wing for 3 currently

 

I don't even think Oz would be in my top 5...in fact it definitely wouldn't
