Boxer Curtis Woodhouse abused on Twitter, hunts down troll

Boxer Curtis Woodhouse has responded to an abusive Twitter user by driving to the street where he lives.

@jimmyob88 was mocking Woodhouse on the social media website, calling him a "complete disgrace", but quickly backtracked when he realised the ex-footballer wanted to confront him in person.

When the boxer tweeted Jimmy's correct street of residence, the troll responded: "chill out pal i was only doing it so you would bite back it was only abit of harmless fun (sic)"

Woodhouse then arrived in Sheffield, asking his followers to provide Jimmy's house number before Jimmy tried to calm him down.

Woodhouse's actions have been applauded by numerous Twitter users, including footballer Joey Barton.

The midfielder, currently on loan at Marseille, tweeted: "I'm not an advocate of violence but what @woodhousecurtis has just done is hilarious! Another big mouth left with s**tty undies..."
