then he insists on playing 4-3-3 when we just can't get it right

we've got De Bruyne coming next season but we need another winger

Meireles is a better option than Frank 'do my running' Lampard. Cast your mind back to the game at Old Trafford and realise why Meireles is the more used midfielder.

Malouda is the only natural left wing option. Only way to put Mata in the hole.

Bosingwa the only natural RB other than Fereirra; which is needed to allow Sturridge to thrive.

Romeu fell off in January and has since been off form

Essien and Mikel are still unfit

Luiz is used so often because Chelsea NEED a ball playing defender to help start attacks

It's amazing how AVB gets it in the neck when Chelsea really are a team that are over the hill. Should have strengthed their team and shifted players at least 2 years ago. He himself should've did more in the summer I suppose.

Cole is still a quality left back, Terry was playing well before he exposed himself as a racist, Lampard and Cech passed it? sh*t - seeeeen, Drogba ain't what he was but still one of the leagues best. Chelsea fans were saying Ivanovic was the best RB in the league. Essien is quality as is Ramires, Mikel and Romeu are good bench players. Mata and Sturridge have been fire and if Torres can't find form/score surely you blame the manager because he wouldn't struggle in a lot of other teams.

That team is ok and thats about as far as it goes. Drogbas heart aint in it anynore. Alot of then players are living off reputation, what they did in the past. They cant do it consistently and avb knows this

AVB has a high opinion of himself and NOTHING is ever his fault, the Arsenal board wouldnt like him baiting up certain facts, that our current manager is prepared to take the blame for.

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is considering a renewed raid on former club Porto for star forward Hulk, midfielder Joao Moutinho and wing-back Alvaro Pereira.

Villas-Boas told Portuguese radio station TSF: "We have Kalou and Malouda, both of whom are nearing the end of their contracts, while Juan Mata and Daniel Sturridge are the future.

"As such, there will surely be a place to fill and I see room for an explosive player on the wing, someone who is strong in one-on-one situations and Hulk fits that profile."

Porto president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa has claimed Hulk has an £85million release clause - something even billionaire Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is likely to baulk at.

Negotiating with Porto proved futile last summer when the Blues tried to sign wing-back Pereira, with Pinto da Costa reportedly still smarting from Villas-Boas' decision to quit the Estadio do Dragao for Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have been linked with midfielder Moutinho as well as a renewed bid for Pereira.

Villas-Boas said: "They could surely play in the Premier League and at Chelsea."
