Young £ Posted July 29, 2012 Report Share Posted July 29, 2012 You realise Ab Soul is a new artist who is basically just beginning right, he has the all time in the world to make an 'illmatic' illmatic was nas's debut album tho and this was before the mixtape ting was popping granted and that was my point before, it was his debut album but it was 1992, the game was different if Nas was coming out now, he'd have a youtube channel, a mixtape and a twitter giving out free music thats not Ab Souls fault, Hip Hop has changed since then and just for arguments sake, Nas haters say he makes 1 good album every ten years, and some say he has never made anything like illmatic again basically im sure in 2030, Nas will undoubtedly be a Hip Hop legend, illmatic will still be a a classic Hip Hop album, I think Ab Soul will be too, and im sure he'll have a classic album by then aswell (if Control System isn't it), then It wouldn't of been so silly of me to suggest you could ever compare the two could it all im saying, my opinion, forget it now as you were Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
