Would love to know what the thinking behind their decisions is. Their opinion on what exactly Derry did would be interesting and i still dont see what the idea is behind this stupid rule of whether a referee saw something or not in regards to if action can be taken against the offending player. Some players get away with ridiculous sh*t and the FA continue to wonder why the same sh*t happens over and over again. Every f*ck*ng season theres a number of filthy challenges that either dont get punished atall or get punished but not significantly from this nuts rule.

The standard of refereeing in various leagues and competitions gets worse every season, can't think of a single prem ref who doesn't seem guaranteed to make at least one shocking decision in any given match

FA haven't got the money to start spending on court cases.

They have obviously been told unless under extreme circumstances there will be no pending reviews on incidents after matches.

The best way to do that is by telling referees to admit to seeing things then no action can be taken.

Luis Suarez & John Terry court cases must of ripped their pockets to shreds!

If he saw it then why not act on it.

If he didn't see the incident then Arsenal would have fair grounds to make an appeal.

That's a good 6-9 days of hearings, legal fees, representatives, lawyers, insurance costs, dedicated appeals teams - you name it! easy £450k

Not enough money floating around to be paying this sh*t especially when you've just forked out £5m+ on sacking your National boss and had two high profile cases that went on for months.

If you didn't see, say you saw it, we'll give you 5% of your wages for every potential appeal.

they are human of course mistakes will be made

missing the point

im not saying they shouldn't make ANY mistakes atall, its more the fact before a match has even begun you can more often then not guarantee a number massive game changing decisions being called wrong by the officials. Its also more when the refs fail to show any sort of consistency that pisses me off, in too many games they will book someone for something then a player for the opposition will do something practically identical and get a talking to, then even when they commit another offence manage to get a final warning before eventually being booked themselves, its like some players get one chance while others get three.

Maybe its just me that thinks its a problem but the standard of officiating is pathetic, its telling that certain occurances can be called before set fixtures, season in season out when the referee is named for the fixture. its not even just the refs, its a combination of the refs and linesman, e.g. the officials either side of the goals in european games W T F is their job ? Has one of them ever actually done something to positively effect the problem of bad calls being made for incidents in and around the box ? They are so so pointless

Yes refs make mistakes, but you telling me from the amount of footage and angles the FA had they thought that Derry deserved his red. Behave.

Cheaters win, you don't get anything in this game being honest. Pure times we see players stay on their feet when they should have went down, least they would get something for their team.

Unless a serious crackdown is done on football around the world, not just the Prem then nothing will change
