I think regardless of race, You shouldn't be meeting a woman, then after 6 months having her children call You dad

net time they call You dad, You need to correct them. "no, call me Abdi".

only when they tell You later in life "Abdi, You're the only father I've ever known" do You say they can call You dad.

This, whilst its very admirable that you want to be with this woman long term and raise her children as your own. There is no way that after only 6 months they should be calling you Dad.

6months is nothing how many 6months relationships has this woman had and had her children calling some random guy dad.
