Let's see

There are pictures and videos out there to be seen

Barca

When he took over from Rijkaard they just finished 2nd and he inherited the spine

Valdes

Puyol

Xavi

Iniesta

Messi

Bayern

He took over from Heycknes who just won the treble

Pep inherited the spine there as well

Neuer

Lahm

Schweni

Robben/Muller

You think Pep is going to want to inherit the spine of

De Gea

Smalling

An ageing Schweni

Rooney

Until he takes a club in crisis who are not going anywhere eg Man Utd then you can CS Pep's ghost writer in them two books.

He only takes jobs which ready made players

This logic is flawed.

He's at Barcelona B, shows promise, he's at his homegrown club, the board like him. They offer him the job. Why would he go elsewhere? They could have lesser players at Barcelona at the time, he's taking over them regardless.

Bayern had the infrastructure in place, as well as the best players. They were chasing HIM. Again, as a top coach, why would you go to a lesser club? Let's use common sense for second.

You don't become the most highly-sought after manager in the world for no reason.

Pep is a coach who revels in the actual process of coaching. He likes Manchester United a lot. They have the funds.

It's a very obvious attractive prospect.

I have written facts when I talk about Barca y Bayern

You lot are talking about fantasises from a Spanish novel

/

You talk about infrastructure being in placed that's all good but the thing what always sways Pep is working with the best players

That's going to be difficult at Carrington unless he is looking to become a goalkeeping coach

Can't call Pep a great manager yet as he's not done anything great

Wenger coming to England and winning the league, whole season unbeaten, 16 years in the cl etc = Greatness

Mourinho's success all over = Greatness

Fergie - Nothing needs to be said

Pep was successful at Barca but look at the squad he inherited. Then he has success with a team which doesn't have any competition (Wow). He has a lot to prove before I can put him on the same level as the above

Are we gonna call Luis Enrique a great manager because of what Barca did last season?

Luis Enrique is on course to win 2 CL’s though, even if it’s not this year I could see it next year.

It’s hard to judge the Bayern situation, that job was tainted the moment they landed the treble.

If he can come to England, implement his philosophy here, dominate domestically and turn any of the clubs back into an elite force in Europe then it would cement his legacy.

Man won 2 CL's and he isn't great but Wenger is for being a whipping boy in the CL for 16 years and losing 7 times in an undefeated season.

Ok.

Could Wenger win the CL with barca? Of course yes

Pep has done nothing to suggest he could do what Wenger has

Moyes showed not as easy as going from a smaller club to one of the biggest clubs in the world.

What are you basing Wenger winning the CL with Barcelona off of? He couldn't win it with the Invincibles but Rafa won it with fodder like Traore.

Moyes showed it's not as simple as being handed the keys and carrying on business as usual.
