I havent had a problem with the game so far, quite enjoyed it and think its much better then last years FIFA. i was like you at first, but as with every years release, you just need to get used to the changes.

 

I dont know if you played the beta, but things were much worse in that build then now.

When it does that, keep going in/out of seasons then it usually after about 2-5 times updates you with the win.

Sometimes you have to fully go into another game mode for it to "click"

Back on the game though...the amount of cut scenes/animations are abit gay...constantly having to hit A to skip shit...then these are some that cant even be skipped arrrrrggghhh

At EGX all weekend.  Chilled with the Fifa youtubers a bit yesterday and they are living life.  Kids were coming up to them every 2 secs for pics and 1 guy (18+) nearly fainted.   That is nuts
