Luiz was truly awful cannot marshall a defence but not as bad as Marcelo

Gave the ball away which led to the corner where the Germans blocked off Luiz brilliantly to allow Muller to score

Everyone pushed up apart from Marcelo for the 2nd goal

Everything was going down Marcelo side and Dante looked stiffed and scared.

Fernandinho kept on giving the ball away

Trust dont know how man can even try justify luiz actions as trying hard

Dante was awful and gus and ferdy was ghost but it doesnt mean luiz should perform some charges out from defence that dawson would be proud of.

The guy was supposed to be the captain yet he played like the guy coming in to make a name for himself in absense of the real team leader.

Double standards are joke on this forum, when kompany does exactly the same actions hes is crucified on here but when luiz does them its about shifting some of the blame

yeh i was saying he was blocked of his own doing (you need a clip that starts earlier when luiz is marking muller)

 

If he was awake and marking Muller properly he could of prevented his run or at least tracked it, but as he was ball watching muller had already breezed and luiz reaction was so delayed he just ran into the crowd.

I did say Luiz was nowhere to be seen for most of them goals.

 

He lost his head I think, even though he ain't the commander of the defence usually he can play better than that.

 

The ineptitude of the whole team just culminated in 1 match, probably couldn't do worse than yesterday again if they tried.

 

Missing their 2 leaders and Scholari just being a very limited coach made things peak from the off.

Germany are so well organised and they seem to get better further on in tournaments.
