The storm troopers are bad because the plot needs them to be and for the most part you see them get shitted on by the hero's

But they are each borderline superhuman

But this guy is quite clearly different

Boyega isn’t a clone, he is a normal person, he maybe force sensitive, he may not. 

 

I’d like to think there’s something about him because he did go with Ren longer than he should've been able to.

I was thinking at the time Ren sucks I think hes the weakest sith we have ever seen had no business losing to anybody in the movie one v one, it was stated that he hadn't finished to his training either

Also in a interview JJ  stated that Ren is not a sith, he was part of an organization called the knights of Ren. Snoke looks like a fucking goon, can't wait to see more of him

only thing that really bugged me was the design of Snoke. He looked like some Voldermort rebore - too cgi and not menacing at all.

On the other hand most of the other aliens looked good. Had a really gritty texture to them. Practical effects paid off.

Saw it today, was decent not amazing, effects were great as expected, nice to see the old faces, the aliens looked the best out of all the star wars films.

Don't think snoke is gonna be plagius, especially since disney are staying away from references to the prequels as much as possible. Can't see them using stuff outside the canon universe now. Could definitely be a rehash of plagius though.

Yeah man! Everything from Disney marketing the film to look like Finn was the Force-Sensitive one (I can't lie I thought he was the one) to him being the cowardice sidekick to him needing several great white hopes to save his life. I even read complaints about John's trim ffs lol.

Here's a thought... if Hillary got the democrat nod in 07 and was currently in the White House, would Finn be the force sensitive padawan main hero instead of Rey? And also, why do females not like Star Wars? There's nothing overtly masculine about the saga, it's an epic space-opera set against a backdrop of intragalactic civil war so it's something most women should be able to relate to.
