^{Football Leaks have done it again! And, this time the website dedicated to publishing football contracts and the shady deals and clauses behind them have released a mega deal.}

^{Late on Wednesday evening, Football Leaks published the full transfer documents of Gareth Bale’s move from Spurs to Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.}

 ^{Under Real Madrid’s preferred payment plan, Bale’s cost was €99.749,542 (plus a €1,015,875 contribution).}

^{In total Real Madrid will pay Spurs €100,759,418 for Gareth Bale.}

^{Real Madrid have previously claimed that the fee for Gareth Bale was 91 million euros, this leaked document proves that it was over 100 million and that the Welshman cost Los Blancos more than Cristiano Ronaldo.}

^{Under the contract, which is six pages long and signed on August 31, 2013 by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, and the general manager of Real Madrid, Jose Angel Sanchez, Bale’s public price was set at 91,589,842 euros.}

^{According to paragraph 15 of the agreement, Real Madrid and Spurs agreed to publicise that the deal was for 78 million pounds (91,589,842 euros). And, that only Real Madrid would be able to announce a fee.}

^{Real Madrid were offered a number of payment methods in Gareth Bale’s contract – they could pay Tottenham €87 million up front for Bale & get a discount or pay (as they have) in instalments with the cost being increased to over €100.8m.}

^{According to Football Leaks, Bale’s cost will be paid in four instalments by Los Blancos -three of €24.9 million have already been paid. One of €21.2 million is pending.}

^{Clause 16 in the contract is also pretty intriguing with Gareth Bale banned by Real Madrid to say anything negative about Spurs, the board of any employees of the north London club.}

Eliaquim Mangala cost Manchester City a staggering £41.9million, leaked transfer documents reveal.

 

The website Football Leaks has published what appears to be an authentic transfer agreement between City and Porto of the defender’s move in 2014.

It reveals that the Premier League club paid far in exceed of the £32million they originally claimed they had paid for the France international.

Mangala’s fee comfortably trumps the £33million Manchester United paid for Rio Ferdinand in 2002 to make him the most expensive defender in Premier League history.

 

According to the document, which appeared online on Wednesday, Porto only owned 56.67 percent of Mangala’s economic rights.

The remainder was split between The Doyen Sports Investment Limited, who owned 33.33 percent, with another 10 percent belonging to an Austrian marketing company.

 

City had to pay £23.4million for Porto’s share alone, meaning the remainder of the deal took the total to £41.9million.

There were suggestions the defender was offered to Valencia on a two-year loan deal as part of the agreement to bring Nicolas Otamendi to the Etihad in August – a move the player rejected.
