Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are set to make a move for Daniel Sturridge.The Londoners have been rocked with the news that Jermain Defoe will miss at least three weeks of the season through injury, and Harry Redknapp wants to bring in a replacement.It is believed that the Spurs manager will ask Manchester City for 19-year-old Sturridge for the rest of the season, with the view to a permanent deal in the summer.Ironically, the Blues could well accept this deal is they land Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz – who is also said to be a target for White Hart Lane.
