so ur in agreement then yeah fellas?

Given the fact he's nearing his mid 20's and hasnt made so much of a dent at utd in the 5 or so years hes been there i'd say he's some stretch off of being any sort of Lampard. He's made less than 30 appearances for utd in 5 years so i dunno what Portugueses theory is based on tbh. The only way i see him being Lampards 'equivalent' is yes if he left utd and went an played in a team with a lot of less able players. Still dont mean he would be as good. Lol @ thinking just because he has good stamina and good shooting ability (two attributes that are common amongst alot of Midfielders) that he's got the 'potential' to be as good as Lamps. Tbh it is portuguese that needs to come with more than that to consolidate his theory. This is real life not Football Manager

Please dont talk to me abt bandwagons....if uve ever seen Gibbo play...it really didnt call for an explaination. Theyre two completely different sorts of players. But just for u lads.

My theory is based on style of play I would of looked stupid if I compared him to a Scholes/Gerrard type of midfielder.

Is Lampard we are talking about,You are behaving Like Lampard offers more than just goals/fitness when he clearly does not.

Why are they different type of players? I just see alot of Lampard in Gibson and also don't tell me Lampard has great techinque/vision because he clearly doesn't if he did he would of never struggled as the head of Ancelotti diamond and seems to excel in a three hence why the Gerrard/Lampard combo never worked for the national team.

Players get better in real life too not only on FM.

Gonna be in the republik for the weekend and have been offered a ticket to the derby, now bearing in mind that since the takeover i've refused to pay any money into the machine my answer was a simple no, then My uncle offered to pay for the ticket, i still said no its fine,

he asked why, one of my reasons was FC are playin and i'm probably going to that game, (with the schedule ive got for the afternoon/evening this is unlikely and he knows this)

the Convo went on a lil while and i cited a few reasons as to why i didnt wanna go, he had a answer to pretty much everything, and had me even questioning my decision, in the end i still said no purely out of principal, but i wont lie, from the second i put the phone down i regretted it and its been on my mind,

however this morning i did my weekly trek through the pages on Redcafe, and came across this, and This is the reason i will not be attending any game at OT ever again, Unless its one of the legends testimonial and even then i'm gonna be picky.

this was posted on the anniversary of the Munich air crash

I went to Old Trafford yesterday to pay my respects

as I always do.

It was a simple service, Flowers of Manchester was sung beautifully but what went on around me totally f*cked me off.

Half way through the FOM, 2 coach loads of tourist revved right past us, drowning out the song and the forecourt was filled with Asian tourists taking pictures of everything, totally oblivious as to what was happening. And then they were laughing and joking during the minutes silence and their f*ck*ng kids were running round like cunts.

Is it too much to ask United to close their f*ck*ng doors for 1 hour a year? I was absolutely disgusted that they allowed all this to go on. I know it's all about the money these days but ffs, 1 hour isn't going to kill them.

Anyway, rant over.

its a f*ck*ng odious place, full off day trippers there for the crack and coz its the in-thing, suits on a jolly boys outing, Tourists taking in the sights, and spineless pricks.

this would NEVER happen at Anfield on the anniversary of Hillsborough,

looking back and obviously hindsight is 20-20, 2000 was the last time i actually fully looked forward to going to games at OT,

Thank christ for FC United, where the soul, history, heritage and traditions of the club (MANCHESTER UNITED) are actually upheld, respected and remembered.

and won't be comprimised for the almighty pound,

utter disgrace, but not shocking at all.

Guest M12 Part 2

Pogba looks special

How do scouts kno wahum for whos gonna make it at such a yung age?

He does looks sick still, he has a big future

I wish i could say the same about Ravel Morrison.

Morrison is better than pogs just not as focussed and not matured yet. He doesn't realise the life his ability could give him. Both are potentially top players though.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted he is out to land an unspecified player this summer.

The Old Master has revealed he made a move in the January transfer window that ultimately did not come off.

Whilst not specifying who his target was - or what position they occupy on the field - the United boss is determined to finally land his man in the summer.

Ferguson, who has been linked with signing a new keeper due to Edwin van der Sar's impending retirement, told United Review: "Billionaire owners have introduced a new world that is turning football on its head.

"For our part, we cannot afford to sit in an ivory tower. We have to face the challenge.

"It is a healthy competition and it goes without saying that we will not shirk it and I don't think we are doing so.

"Although I let the transfer window shut without signing a new player, that is because we did our homework some time ago and didn't have to rush into any emergency buying.

"We had an interest in one player, and I thought we had a chance of bringing him in, but the other parties involved weren't ready and so we have put it away until the summer."

MANCHESTER United are poised to edge out Arsenal in the £10million scramble to sign Southampton’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The 17-year-old, dubbed the new Theo Walcott, was all set to join the Gunners during the January transfer window.

Arsenal were on the verge of agreeing a £10m package – £5m cash plus add ons – with Saints until United suddenly made their interest known after facing the League One club in the FA Cup.

United indicated that they wanted to do the deal in the summer and would top any Arsenal fee and wages on offer to the teenage winger.

It’s now believed that United are the firm favourites to snatch Oxlade-Chamberlain, son of former England international Mark Chamberlain, from Arsenal’s clutches.

It’s understood the player is keen on joining United after originally being tempted by Arsenal, who have nurtured former Southampton protégé Walcott into an England star.

Liverpool also tried to sign Chamberlain last month but a faxed offer was dismissed out of hand by the Saints board.

United are also weighing up whether to rival Liverpool and Spurs in their moves for Blackpool’s Scottish international midfielder Charlie Adam.

Ferguson has become increasingly impressed by the player, recently suggesting that he was worth £10m for his corner-taking skills alone.

Dunno.... He's doing a Job in the Prem already, he's Scottish and Fergie already dropped that bar about his Crosses being worth 10 Million alone or something. Easy to read too much into that though.

I think Ganso is already on his way to AC Milan, sure they have an agreement made for him to join in the Summer.

deep down i know that c*nt ferguson will try to move to Bale or Modric this summer.

f*cked up thing is deep down I know he'll get him

Fairly confident that Modric will be house hunting in Lancashire somewhere this Summer,

no inside info or anything, but just a feeling. (knock wood)

Don't think we'll go for Bale, as Fergie has again reiterated the FACT that we don't get involved in transfer Auctions and fights with other teams.

the more i think about it, i initially thought he was on about Adam or Young this Jan, but i'm leaning towards Young even more now,

which would make sense on alot of levels,

wasn't cup tied,

Fergie didnt talk up his price in January

Fergie wouldnt go into a bidding war with the scousers for fear of losing

our Reliance on Giggs at his age is becoming increasingly unsettling

Nani's form on the right wing, would make it almost criminal to put him back on the Left even when Valencia's back,
