You know what really sums up the size of United in the big scheme of things.

Arsenal are in talks for a £30 million a year deal, that's pretty big,

Then United are in talks for £70 million.

Kit sponsorships is only the the tip of the iceberg too.

The club is a behemoth. Yet we've been conned into being overjoyed by breaking our transfer record with £37 million.

The bond issue alone raised £500 million.

The emirates Stadium has apparently cost £470 million to date.

Around the time of their last takeover Liverpool (5 times champions of Europe, 18 times champions of England) were valued by Forbes at around £530 million.

Unsurprisingly you've misunderstood. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

OK I misunderstood. What did you mean?

As fans we are led to believe we should be overjoyed by spending £37 million. As it signals we are willing to compete with the big spenders.

when in reality it is pocket change for the money making machine that is Manchester United. Pocket change.

When i say led to believe I'm not highlighting it coming from area as opposed to another, just generally.

This is why I laugh when certain media sources and journalists talk about it being a catastrophe if Champions league football isn't secured.

Kinda shocked to see him get sold. Think it's a bit of a disgrace the lack of Mancunians coming through at United after what the Scholes,Neville & Butt era produced. Only Welbeck flying the flag now. Hopefully Will Keane and Lingaard will make it. Damn shame about Ravel still as well.

It's a new era . Moyes wants to see these guys playing competitive ball not reserves football. If all goes well ,they will actually get games and Moyes will have an idea about where everyone stands, first team aswell.

No way he could have done this second he arrived ,took a few months to see what's good.

I can see a big clear out in the summer . Moyes is just flexing
